We Get Asked These Questions a Lot
Every week, questions come in through DMs, emails, and comments. Some repeat. Some surprise us. All of them are worth answering honestly.
Here are five we hear most often — with real answers, not brand-speak.

"Is the OVER FIT only for people with big heads?"
Not at all — and this is the most common misconception we get.
The OVER FIT line was designed with a deeper crown and wider structure, yes. But that doesn't mean it's a size chart. It means the cap sits differently — further down, more grounded, with more visual weight. Some of our customers with average-sized heads specifically choose OVER FIT because of how it looks, not because they have to.
If you want a cap that feels more intentional on your head — not perched on top, but worn — OVER FIT might be it.

"Can I wear a URH cap running and then to the office?"
Yes. That's literally what it was designed for.
URH (Undercontrol Road Hiker) started from a simple question: why do outdoor and everyday gear have to look so different? The answer is — they don't.
The nylon caps in the URH line are lightweight enough for a morning run but structured enough to carry into the rest of your day. They don't scream "athletic gear." They just look like a well-chosen cap.

"How do I choose between Undercontrol and URH?"
The honest version: it comes down to what you do in a day.
Undercontrol is for people who want headwear that disappears into their wardrobe — clean lines, no logo noise, something that works from morning coffee to late evening.
URH is for people who move more — commuters, runners, people who spend time outside and want their gear to keep up without changing their aesthetic.
A lot of our customers end up with both. That wasn't an accident.

"Do your caps work if I have a lot of hair?"
We designed specifically with this in mind.
Most caps are built for one type of head — a standard circumference, no volume. OVER FIT was different from the start. Higher crown, more room, no awkward pressure points for people with textured, thick, or longer hair. The goal was a cap that works for the head you actually have, not the average one on a spec sheet.
"Can I throw it in the washing machine?"
For most of our caps — yes, but gently.
Cold water, delicate cycle, reshape while damp, air dry. Don't use the dryer. Don't iron the brim. The bill holds its shape better than you'd expect, as long as you're not forcing heat onto it.
The one exception: if your cap has a structured brim and you want it to stay that way, hand washing is safer. Five minutes under cold water and a soft brush — that's all it needs.
