A Running Club Morning with Sweat Days

A Saturday morning in June, a city park in Korea, and a running club dressed head to toe in black. This is the day we ran with Sweat Days.

Sweat Days is a Korean running crew, and on June 7 last year they invited us along for a group run. Nobody was racing. People met on the steps, tied on bandanas, pushed sunglasses up onto their caps and set off in a long, loose line over footbridges, boardwalks and paths through the bamboo.

We came to watch our gear do its job. The grey mesh bandanas are our A-004 Breeze, and the caps with sunglasses resting on the visor are the C-007. What stayed with us was the club itself: a group run is the easiest way to keep running once the weather turns, because someone is waiting for you at the start.

The mornings are colder now, and the crews here are still out. If you have been thinking about joining a running club, November is a good month to show up.

More on the cap built for sunglasses.
